Cafe Poloma is awesome, except they wont take more than 1 or 2 credit cards.  Anyone know any other good mediterranean places around?

Panos Kleftiko in Lower Queen Anne (5th & Roy). It's closed until Oct. 5 becuase Panos, the chef and owner goes back to Greece for a month. It's THE BEST Greek food in North America.  I 'm sure of it. Panos makes almost everything from scratch, doing all the cooking himself.  Small, family-style place. Might not be the fastest, but the charm and quality are excellent.

Asteroid Cafe has great Italian food but its a little expensive. Sahara on the Ave is one of the best for Lebanese-style cooking and although its not strictly Mediterranean, its worth trying out.
Palmyra is a new place on N. 45th St in Wallingford with Mediterranean cuisine.  I've only been one time and the gyros were great but the pita bread was a bit tough.

Zaina on 3rd and Pine is really casual, and Mediterranean Kitchen is my absolute favorite.

Gyros2go in Redmond is my recent discovery. It's just a tiny little sandwich shop but the food is great. It's a simple menu and all Mediterranean food. I wrote a review if you want more info.

Orexi and Orexi II in Bellevue rock. Great spankopita! I agree with Dianne B, Gyros2Go in Redmond is good too. They have good baklava (nice and sticky).

You are also forgetting one of the best in the city, even if it is in Pioneer Square...
Mediteranean Mix, or Med-Mix, or Medi-Mix depending on how much time you spend in the Square.  It is open late, the food is amazing and they are bound to have something you want.

They are also the originators of the now famous Hot Dog w/Cream Cheese we all buy with a guilty heart when we go out!
