Know where I can teach my man a step or two in salsa, jazz or ballroom?

Metronome Ballroom has all of those and more starting all the time. I tried their weekly drop-in salsa class a while back. It was fun, but drop-in makes it very hard to progress. I'd opt for something where the group starts and stays together. You can also get decent rates on private lessons for you and your man. Have fun!

I love the Metronome Ballroom.  Taken several lindy hop and east coast swing classes (not the drop-in) there and can vouch for the patience and competence of the instructors.

the SF Dance Center (also home to Alonzo King's Lines Ballet) - if you want a challenge, they've got just about every kind of dance. i took a beginning/intermediate jazz class there once and found myself trying to do a routine amongst people who'd been dancing for decades. so, they've got great classes but just be careful which level you put yourself in.
