All you food fanatics will want to check out Boston's 5th Annual Restaurant Week, August 22-26, 2005. Some of Boston's best restaurants offer a fixed three-course lunch or dinner menu for a mere $20 and $30, respecticely. I went to Azure two years ago, and it was DELICIOUS!! Here's a website with more information:
http://www.bostonusa.c... Any one have any recommendations or Restaurant Week tidbits to share?

So I think the boy and I are gonna venture out for RW for the first time ever. So tell me, if you had to pick one place for us to go for dinner (can't do lunch, sadly) that every Bostonian should have to try at least once, where would it be?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Restaurant Week! Icarus was good for classic and classy fine dining. Bomboa was yummy and has a great scene to accompany the menu. I was so sadly disappointed in Hammersley's. I had wanted to go there for quite some time and the food was only ok. Aujourd'hui was only ok as well but that was a few years ago and I believe they have a new chef.
Wherever you decide to go - make your reservations early. You can also make reservations through Open Table (
www.opentable.com) if you are a points junkie...
Susan - Thanks so much for the reminder!
